Job Title: DASH (Drugs, Alcohol & Sexual Health) Day Time Coordinator

Contract type: 24 Month Fixed Term Contract. Full Time

Location: Cork & Kerry, (Hybrid) Base negotiable based on the successful candidate’s location.

Department: HSE Social Inclusion (based within Drug & Alcohol Services)

Host Employer: Sexual Health Centre (day to day line management by HSE Drug & Alcohol Services)

Experience Level: Experienced

Remuneration: Starting pay €52,235 (Grade V HSE Pay Scale)

About the Role:

HSE Social Inclusion is seeking a DASH Day Time Coordinator to develop and implement a service that supports equitable access, by means of a mobile health unit within the Cork and Kerry Region. This project combines the work of the HSE Social Inclusion and the Sexual Health Centre providing sexual health, drug and alcohol services to individuals and groups from vulnerable or marginalised communities and to those who may feel disconnected from society.

The coordinator will require use of their own vehicle but also at times be required to drive the DASH mobile unit. (a specialised adapted van).

Terms and Conditions:

Hours: Full time contract based on 35 hours, 5 days per week, Monday to Friday. Due to the nature of the post, evening or weekend work will occasionally be required.

Holidays: 24 Days annual leave

Garda Vetting: please note that any offer of employment will be subject to Garda Vetting.

The DASH Day Time Coordinator will report directly to the Coordinator of the Cork & Kerry Drug & Alcohol Task Force.
