DASH Project Worker (Night-time)
Part Time, 1 Year, Specific Purpose Contract
The Sexual Health Centre, in partnership with Cork Local Drug & Alcohol Task Force and the Southern Regional Drug and Alcohol Taskforce, is seeking an exceptional, positive individual to join the team to support the delivery of our mobile Drugs, Alcohol, Sexual Health (DASH) project.
The purpose of this role is to further develop the DASH project which focusses on delivering health promotion and harm reduction supports to people as they socialise in the evenings. In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the overall strategy of the Sexual Health Centre.
The successful candidate will work with the DASH team to deliver sexual health and harm reduction supports and interventions through our mobile health unit across the Cork and Kerry region. Additionally, sexual health, drug and alcohol services will be delivered to individuals and groups from vulnerable or marginalised communities and to those who may feel disconnected from society. This roll will have a particular focus on the night-time and evening economy.

The DASH outreach services are delivered through an inclusive lens to enable greater access to information, signposting and support to bring about behaviour change opportunities and improved outcomes for service users with particular emphasis on delivering health promotion to people as they socialise.
This is a part time 1-year specific purpose contract. Applicants will require a full clean driving (regular B licence).

Salary: €35,000 pro rata
Contract: 1-year Specific Purpose Contract (subject to continuation of funding).
Hours: Part Time 14 hours per week, with some evening and weekend work
Holidays: 24 Days annual leave pro rata
