Trans Peer Support

Our Trans Peer Support Service is a welcoming, confidential space where transgender, nonbinary and gender-diverse people can connect, share and be heard.

Whether you’re questioning your gender, navigating transition, or simply looking for community, we’re here to support you.

We offer: 

  • One on one peer support meetings with our trans peer support staff 

  • Signposting and support if you are looking for trans health care, gender affirming surgery, mental health support, housing support, addiction support, pregnancy and/or abortion support 

  • Support if you are just beginning transition 

  • Resources on safe binding and safe tucking    

  • Support for trans youth and their families, including referrals to counselling services within SHC 

Additionally, If you are accessing hormones DIY, we offer supplies to support safe injection.
