We are delighted to announce that Muire O'Farrell has joined the Sexual Health Centre as our new Head of Operations as of April 2024. Bringing a wealth of experience in health promotion and digital communications, Muire has dedicated her career to enhancing community health services and advocating for impactful change.

As Head of Operations, Muire provides strategic and operational leadership across the organisation, ensuring our services are delivered effectively, efficiently and in line with our mission and values. She works closely with teams across the Centre to achieve organisational goals, strengthen collaboration, drive continuous improvement and support the delivery of high-quality, person-centred services.

Muire brings extensive experience in health promotion, organisational development and leadership, alongside a strong understanding of the operational and strategic requirements of the community and voluntary sector. Having previously held senior roles within the Sexual Health Centre, she has a deep knowledge of our services, our communities and the importance of delivering inclusive, evidence-informed sexual health support.

With a collaborative leadership style and a commitment to empowering teams, Muire plays a key role in fostering a positive organisational culture, supporting staff development and ensuring the Sexual Health Centre continues to grow its impact while remaining true to its values of inclusion, respect, integrity and innovation.

Her leadership is instrumental in steering our Centre towards enhanced service delivery and greater community impact.
