Gabriel Marttin

Sexual Health Advisor to LGBTI+ people

Gabriel Marttin works as an LGBTQIA+ Sexual Health Support at SHC. He graduated in Midwifery in 2020 and hold a Master’s degree in Public Health from the University of São Paulo (USP) in Brazil in 2023, where he built a strong foundation in evidence-based healthcare and the defense of human rights for women and the LGBTQIA+ population.

Before joining SHC, Gabriel worked for four years as a midwife in Brazil, providing care for both low- and high-risk births with a woman- and family-centered approach, understanding childbirth as an event with deep social impact. During this period, he also focused his studies on the trans population—particularly the gestational experiences of trans men and the protection of their sexual and reproductive health rights.

As a Sexual Health Support at SHC, Gabriel is committed to ensuring access to high-quality sexual health information for the LGBTQIA+ population, promoting empathetic, respectful, and rights-based care.
