Martin Davoren

Dr Martin Davoren joined the Sexual Health Centre in September 2017 as executive director responsible for planning, directing and managing our services.
He also holds an adjunct lecturer position with the School of Public Health, University College Cork, where he previously worked as a lecturer and researcher.
Martin was assistant director for Networks and Knowledge Translation with the SPHeRE Programme, Ireland’s national research training programme for population health and health services research. He was also in charge of setting up, directing and evaluating UCC Health Matters, Ireland’s Health Promoting Unviersity. Martin’s research focused on alcohol use, drug use and sexual health. He was principal investigator and co-applicant on a number of funded projects.
