Evelyn Landers

DASH Coordinator

Evelyn began working with The Sexual Health Centre as the DASH Project Coordinator in September 2023. Evelyn has qualifications from UCC and Maynooth University in Youth and Community Work, Public Relations and Counselling Skills.

Prior to joining the Sexual Health Centre Evelyn was a Regional Coordinator for Munster/South Leinster with Pieta supporting individuals who were experiencing suicide ideation, engaging in self harm and/or people who has suffered a bereavement through suicide.

Evelyn also has experience in working in housing/homelessness with Threshold the National Housing Charity providing advocacy and housing support to those at risk of homelessness.

Having served as an Advocacy Worker with One in Four in Dublin providing support to individuals who had experienced retrospective childhood sexual abuse. Much of her work was supporting and guiding clients through the reporting/legal process as well as court accompaniment. Additionally Evelyn assisted clients who experienced childhood sexual abuse whilst in institutional care through the Redress Process.

Evelyn is a dedicated advocate and support professional with a proven track record of assisting individuals through challenging circumstances.
