Dr Martin Davoren joined the Sexual Health Centre in September 2017 as executive director responsible for strategic direction and management of service provision.
He also holds an adjunct lecturer position with the School of Public Health, University College Cork. Previously, Martin worked as a lecturer and researcher in the School of Public Health, University College Cork.
He was assistant director for Networks and Knowledge Translation with the SPHeRE Programme, Ireland’s national research training programme for population health and health services research, as well as leading the implementation, direction and evaluation of UCC Health Matters, Ireland’s Health Promoting University. His research focused on the area of alcohol use, drug use and sexual health. He was principal investigator and co-applicant on a number of funded projects.
